Inside a full PPF wrap on a Porsche 911 GT3.
A brand new Porsche 911 GT3 came in for a full-body paint protection film. Every painted panel covered, edges wrapped, ceramic on top. Here's the build, chaptered so you can jump straight to the part you want.
Walk-around and inspection

Every PPF starts the same way: walk the car with the owner, document every existing mark, and agree on coverage before we open a single roll of film. Factory paint is unforgiving. Anything we miss now becomes permanent the moment film goes on.
Decontamination and paint prep

Iron remover, tar solvent, clay bar, two-bucket wash. Anything bonded to the clear coat gets lifted before the film goes anywhere near it. We finish with a panel wipe to leave the surface chemically neutral.
Computer-cut film, panel by panel

Patterns come from the XPEL DAP library, cut to the millimetre for this exact model year. We pre-fit every panel before any film hits the car so we can adjust before commitment.
Wet apply, position, squeegee

Soap-water solution lets us float each piece into place before working out the air and water. Edges get wrapped behind panel gaps where possible so nothing reads from a normal viewing distance.
Final inspection and handover

Every edge inspected, every seam walked. We hand the keys back with cure-time instructions: no washing for 48 hours, no automatic brushes, remove anything organic the moment it shows up.
Fresh off the install.
Every painted panel protected. From a normal viewing distance the film is invisible. The car is now ready for ten years of daily driving without taking a single rock chip to factory paint.

Want the same on your car?
PPF + ceramic is our most-requested protection package. Every install starts with a walk-around so we can recommend coverage based on how you actually drive.
